Risk factors of Secondary Traumatic Stress in psychotherapists studied during the COVID-19

Introduction: The aim of the study was: to assess severity Secondary Traumatic Stress (STS), identify ST's predictors, and model relationships between predictors in psychotherapists working during pandemic Poland. Materials methods: research group consisted 153 (130 women, 85%) aged 25-66 (M = 39.39; SD 9.65). following tools were used measure variables: Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS), Perceived Scale (PSS-10), Fatigue Severity (FSS), FCV-19S Fear COVID-19 (FCV-19S), (STSS), Personal Inquiry, Assessment conditions a pandemic. Discussion: It has been shown that 9.8% experienced high or very high-intensity symptoms Stress. STS turned out be: task-induced stress pandemic, emotion-focused stress-coping style, fear COVID-19. proposed moderated moderation, which assumes anxiety intensifies emotional style coping with specialists, an influence on relationship occupational tasks Stress, not confirmed. Therefore, there is need further exploration issue. Conclusions: Research shows increase STSD among Polish covid as well risk factors intensifying this diagnosis.
